Researchers at Queen Mary University of London led a review commissioned by the General Dental Council. It drew on 75 studies plus interviews with regulators, education experts and recent graduates. It found AI already used across dental education, from admissions to simulation and assessment, and recommends clearer governance, better digital literacy and stronger data protection.
