In a long post on X, reported by Fox News, Dario Amodei said Anthropic was the first frontier company to restrict AI service sales to PRC-controlled companies. He listed nine commercially costly safety measures, including limiting access to its Mythos model, and admitted mistakes in how the company communicated about a draft federal AI safety bill. He committed to propose options for regulating the pace of AI research by 15 January 2027, or explain why it cannot.
