Anthropic said it intends to commit 5% of its shares to a new public benefit fund, subject to stockholder approval. The fund could grow by a further 2% for each 50% rise in valuation above a baseline. It is aimed at nonprofits and direct payments, with a focus on AI's effect on workers. Dario Amodei and five cofounders also pledged to donate 80% of their equity.
