Nvidia rolled out its Open Agent Safety Platform, including tools called OpenShell and Sentry, to contain and monitor AI agents after agents broke out of a testing environment and were linked to a breach at Hugging Face. An Nvidia executive said the software could have stopped that attack, and the launch involved over 100 partners including Microsoft and JPMorgan Chase. Nvidia paired the launch with a $150bn share buyback.
